Antivirus Agent is an Agent of Cyber Crime

There are plenty of reasons why you should protect your computer with a quality antispyware application. If you don't then your personal information could be stolen. Your computer could end up ruined. Your desktop could become flooded with pop-up ads. Or you could even end up scammed by a program like Antivirus Agent. Don't let any of these things happen to you.

Antivirus Agent is a rogue antivirus application designed to trick you out of your hard earned money. It may have a sleek appearance, but don't let that fool you. Under its shiny façade is nothing more than a scam waiting to happen. It will cause your computer and your Internet connection to slow down. It will even cause pop-up ads and reduce your browser's security settings.

This rogue wriggles its way into your computer through security holes in your browser or, more commonly, through a Trojan horse that has already infected your system. Once it has successfully invaded your computer, you will be subjected to false security warnings. They will claim that your computer has been infected with viruses.

A scan will then be initiated that will ultimately yield fraudulent results. These results will be used to scare you into purchasing the full version of Antivirus Agent. But whatever you do, do not buy it. It is completely powerless to defend your computer from anything malicious. In fact, it may even download other kinds of malware.

Don't waste your money on this scam and don't allow it to infect your computer. Protect your computer with a legitimate antispyware program. If Antivirus Agent has already infected your computer's system, then you should have it removed. While you could remove it manually, it would be safer to remove it with a good antispyware program. That way, you could really be sure that all of its files have been removed.

Finding a legitimate antispyware program can be difficult. Finding a quality one is even harder. There are plenty of scams out there and free applications don't usually offer enough protection. But there are some tips that you could follow to help you out in your search.

First, you should make sure that the company is legitimate and trustworthy. Second, you should make sure that the antispyware is guaranteed to remove 100% of spyware. Lastly, if you can, make sure that the company uses a robot to search for new threats. These tips will assure a quality antispyware program. Don't settle for anything less because your computer deserves more.

I had to read this article twice through just to take in all the points. I agree with most and plan to revisit others later.
